RECEIVE EDI ON YOUR BEHALF (Receive Only)

We establish an EDI connection with your trading partner and receive your documents into our VAN (Value Added Network) EDI mailbox. We translate the message into the form you prefer, usually a FAX, e-mail message or data file. The reformatted message is delivered to you through a dial-up connection or via the Internet. We send a functional acknowledgment to your trading partner to let them know that the document was properly received.

SEND EDI ON YOUR BEHALF (Send Only)

Documents you wish to transmit to your EDI trading partners are sent to us in your preferred form, usually as a FAX, e-mail message or data file. Your message is reformatted into EDI structure. We establish an EDI connection with your trading partner and send your EDI document via our VAN to your trading partner. We receive functional acknowledgments from your trading partner as evidence of their receipt of your documents.

CUSTOM DATA IMPORT / EXPORT / INTEGRATION WITH ACCOUNTING

If your document volume is substantial you may want to consider integrating some EDI documents with your accounting system. The documents most commonly integrated with accounting are the Purchase Order, Invoice and Advance Ship Notice. Typically an inbound EDI PO will be processed into a Sales Order and automatically allocate inventory to that order; an Invoice created in your accounting system creates an EDI invoice file and an Advance Ship Notice EDI document should automatically debit your inventory. EDI Service Bureau, Inc. provides custom software which bridges your accounting and EDI program. The software can be used with in-house EDI translators as well as to exchange data with a service bureau EDI system. ADVANCE SHIP NOTICE WITH BARCODES

Many major retailers now require the 856 ASN with UCC-128 barcodes on products they buy. The ASN is one of the most difficult EDI documents to successfully implement. Adding barcode labels often takes it beyond the capability of most do-it-yourself entrepreneurs. We offer custom turn-key ASN and barcode system design and implementation. Although this service is not inexpensive, it is a very effective way to comply with a major customer's EDI requirements.

PHONE-to-EDI SERVICE For Manufacturers, HUBS and Service Bureaus

Does your company have an outside sales force or distributor network? Do they phone in orders which require expensive, manual processing? This small percentage of non-EDI customers are expensive to service because of the paper processes involved. We provide a central toll-free (or toll) telephone number for your sales people or distributors to call in their PO's to, convert the phone orders to EDI, mapped to your specifications, and send them in to your EDI system. Result: 100% EDI compliance by all customers, field sales persons or distributors. By eliminating phone-in order processing your costs are cut way down!
